Why I Advocate with Beautycounter

I’ve struggled with skin issues a lot over the years, beginning with teen acne and continuing with rosacea after having my first baby.  I tried changing my diet and spent a lot of time and effort trying different products to figure out why my skin was so reactive. I finally stumbled upon Beautycounter, and gave their stuff a try.  I started with a facial oil and tint skin foundation, and with those two products alone, I saw a huge improvement in my rosacea symptoms. As I replaced more and more products, the improvements in my skin just kept coming.  After using Beautycounter for about a year, I decided to become a consultant because I think that we all deserve better. Beautycounter products are free from 1500 ingredients that are proven to cause irritation or harm to our bodies in some way. The beauty industry is largely under-regulated, and there hasn’t been any new legislation in this area since 1938. The ugly fact is that companies can put just about anything in a product without testing to see how it will affect our bodies. Endocrine disruption is a growing problem in this country, and a lot of it is tied to topical application of products. We deserve better!
